Uma breve história da Homeopatia
Homeopathy is a complex medical system, of a holistic nature, based on the vitalist principle and the use of the law of similars enunciated by Hippocrates in the 4th century BC, according to which like cures like, that is, to treat an individual who is sick it is necessary to apply a medicine that, when tested on a healthy person, presents the same symptoms that the sick person presents.
This principle is similar to that of vaccines. Homeopathy has been a medical specialty recognized by the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) since 1980. However, although this is the date of its officialization in Brazil, Homeopathy is one of the oldest specialties in the world.

Definitely not. Homeopathy is a medical specialty. It's official. Complementary therapies are another type of therapeutic approach, usually practiced by non-physicians, which has its value, like phytotherapy, for example. But these are not medical specialties.
